My Testimony
Raised in a religious home and gifted with a talent for singing, I struggled to experience Christ’s love amid my family’s financial hardships and personal challenges. During my 12th grade, I reached a breaking point and ran away from home, contemplating suicide.
For two days, I wandered without food or shelter until I found work in a hotel. There, a Bible left behind by a customer was handed to me by my manager. Reading it brought an unexpected sense of bravery and peace, dispelling my suicidal thoughts and guiding me back home to seek my true purpose.
After completing school, I pursued a career in hotel management and catering science. My journey led me to a spiritual church with monthly revival meetings, where twelve different pastors prophesied Jeremiah 1:5 to me: “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you.” This affirmation confirmed God’s call to ministry.
Balancing my family’s financial needs with my sense of calling, I faced the challenge of job interviews that left me feeling unfulfilled. A breakthrough came when I read Psalm 96:2: “Sing to the Lord, bless His name; proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.” This verse resonated deeply, leading me to leave my job and fully commit to ministry. Though my siblings initially preferred I work and serve in my spare time, prayer helped them understand my calling.
With my family’s support, I enrolled in Bible college to deepen my knowledge of the Scriptures. Despite receiving a dream job offer on a ship, I chose to follow God’s calling and stayed dedicated to ministry. Through divine guidance, I launched a film ministry and began leading a church in Thirumangalam, Madurai. I focused on studying the Bible and writing impactful songs, resulting in a CD titled “Varthaianavarae” (You Are the Word). Our church experienced healing, blessings, and spiritual growth.
I am deeply grateful for God’s blessings on my family and ministry. Our mission is to spread the gospel through truth and song, encouraging others to engage in God’s work and strengthening their faith in His love. Our spiritual books, Faith Confession and Mouth, have positively impacted many lives. I am especially thankful for my supportive wife and children, as God has transformed our financial struggles and uses our family in ministry. He guides us, revives our spirits, and elevates us, as reflected in Psalm 113:7–8, where God raises the needy from the dust and lifts the poor from the ash heap, seating them with princes. His plans for us are unstoppable, and we trust that everything works together for good.
